| Donating YT 14K Club Member | Thank God the auction was removed. I've seen German Shorthaired Pointer puppies on there before out of Dallas. I kindly sent the seller an e-mail about eBay rules and reported the auction. It, too got canceled.

| The listing was removed, thank goodness. I just hope the poor little furkid finds a family who will give her the love and care she deserves. Makes you wonder ...... |

| I'm glad that they removed the listing. I can't believe some people. I don't know why people still shock me, but they do.

| i didnt get to see it.... it was canceled before i could see what the fuss was about.... please dont take this the wrong way but what is the difference between advertising on ebay, or puppyfind? or the newspaper? or pennysaver for that matter? I found toby through a newspaper... is that wrong as well? granted going out of the newspaper and the internet is a bit different, especiially ebay, but still... like that puppfind website for example.... people look at yorkies on there all teh time, some people here have gotten their dogs from that site. I really dont want to start a controversy or anything i would just like the difference defined for me, because i guarantee you that not many people will have the same diffinition. |

The big difference is that on ebay the dog goes to the highest bidder, no matter what the person is like, on puppyfind/newspaper you must contact the breeder, at which point they should (though obviously some don't) check the potential buyer out to some degree. Screening process and so. I admit, puppyfind, unless it is a trasaction where the person comes to look at and pick up the dog, is very close to ebay...you can act anyway over the phone. Newspaper is more personal, usually local followed by calling and visiting. Anyway, just thought I'd give my point of view. ~LeAnn

| It really burns me up to see people trying to auction off their pets. There are animal lovers out there that check these auctions just for things like the last auction and notify ebay. It is against ebays rules and they are real good about yanking the ad once they find out one has been posted. If you ever see an ad for an animal for sell, just use the link on ebay and contact them...make sure to give them the auction number and they will cancel the ad. Yippeee for ebay!!! |

I am by no means agreeing with this person, i think that it was wrong as well, but there are other methods to sell a dog. Say the newspaper, you said it was more "intimate" or whatnot because the buyer gets to know the seller over the phone, but if the buyer doesnt give a damn in the first place.... All im trying to say is: it is a fact of life that some people should not be animal owners, and if someone is callous enough to "sell the dog to the highest bidder" than they obviously dont give a damn about the dog, it could end up FREE in the newspaper (where it would get snatched by animal testing people, or pepole that aer exactly like teh first owner) or it could be abondoned. This person is obviusly irresponsible and wants to get rid of this dog, at least by makeing the dog available to the "highest bidder" there was less of a chance for some scumbag to get ahold of it, now im sorry to say i thiink that is probably inevitable.... poor doggy

| That poor little puppy. I hated seeing it put on ebay. But now we will never know what happened to it. I dont understand why people do this. how can anyone get rid of these little babies or any dog for that matter. Its so sad. some of these dogs never have a chance to be loved. |
