Heartbreaking! I hope someone does come and get the pup though since this owner just thinks of him as bartering material. Not sure why it is so much more distasteful to offer to trade for a phone than to sell for money, but it is. I guess the worst part is she obviously doesn't care who gets the little cutie, just wants that phone. :( |
I'm a couple of hours away in Huntsville. I have a family obligation out of town this weekend and can't do anything right now. It's really bothering me though. Should I e-mail her and see if I could get him next week? I'm not in a position to keep him, but I could possibly get him and keep him till he could be turned over to rescue. What do you guys think? |

I went ahead an emailed the owner to see if this was even legit. I asked if the dog was still available and if it had any health issues and what kind of money he was asking if no phone was available. We have a lady here at work that places unwanted/adoptable dogs with people. She's interested in getting this dog to a better home. |
He's so cute!! Good for you xFoxyz. I also wonder if this is a scam somehow; but if not, the little guy should have a better chance at someone valuing him more in a new/different home. |
