I live in GA about 2 hours from Alabaster, AL and emailed this person also. I don't have tmobile so nothing to exchage but could pick him up for someone. I wanted to know how many $$ if you didn't have anything to exchange. I'll let y'all know if I get a response. By the way, I wouldn't be getting him to keep as I don't have the time or money to maintain another one for an extended amount of time but he doesn't need to be in a barter situation if indeed this is for real.

I haven't e-mailed them yet and since we've had a couple of people e-mail, I won't. I don't want the person to get too many responses and think they've got a hot item! I can help with transportation though and I could foster him if I need to. I'm in Huntsville but I'm willing to drive!

probably not. Maybe some young teen age girl or boy who got a yorkie and realize they don't fit in the purse any more but a new cell phone would.



Personally as bad as this seems. What really is the difference if he gets 500 bucks or a cell phone? Maybe money isn't an issue. I am sure we all wouldnt be responding the way we are if they were asking only $$. you never know, I don't find it that deeply terrible.

Usually when one is selling their dog it's due to not being able to provide adequately for it or due to financial reasons, which can be understandable, especially now with so many struggling in this economy.

Instances like THIS one, are disturbing because it's obvious this person isn't in some financial crisis....they simply value an electronic object more than they value this poor dog! And if that's the case, could you imagine how this dog is being treated? Certainly not with the love and care one would provide who knows the true worth of their 4-legged family member.

:( That is just sad!!! You can go to your local cell phone store and get a phone for free most of the time when you sign a contract. If you can't get it for free, there is usually a very small charge!!!!

I'm glad they're trading the pup, he doesn't look happy at all in the photos. I just pray that he gets a good home... soon. I'd take him if I had a way to get him!

I was really hoping for an update...this little guy looks so sad it just breaks my heart! :( As another poster said, we wouldn't be having such a long discussion about this if she were only asking for $$, but, it's obvious to us and the poor baby that he's not wanted. I will take him in a minute if she'll answer someones email.

I was just thinking the same thing. Can anyone that is near the a hole, find out what cash he'll take for her/him and I'll chip in. Jody, maybe your rescue could take her or if you know of one in that area that could? This is messed up. People just disgust me!!

I haven't heard anything back from the person. Probably found someone and just isn't replying to anyone else. Sorry I didn't have any better update at this point.

I am so sick of these horrible craigslist ads. I found an ad for a woman who bought a yorkie this weekend and is selling it for 75 bc it's not housetrained! Shes had the dog 2 days and then posted it on craigslist. :( These stories break my heart. Another one because the guy only wants a purebred schnauzer so he doesn\'t want the dog now, the dog looks nothing like a schnauzer more like a chiuaua terrier mix - he knew that when he bought the dog! I can\'t look on there anymore or I will be an emotional wreck.
