A typical week for Maverick and Cosmo:
It’s actually more like a typical day, on repeat.
They spend M-F from 8-6 with my mom, and her 2 dogs (mini poodle and chi) and cat. From what I am told, this consists of backyard play for most of the day, toys, tug-of-war,a nap or ten, wrestling, and few good rounds of “chase the cat”
Once I get home we have dinner, go for a 20-30 min walk.
I try to take them on at least one outing during the week, even if it’s just a trip to the pet store.
30-60 minutes a night of fetch and tug-of-war.
A good hour each night out back barking at squirrels.
Everyone gets a bath on the weekend.

Sugar comes to work with me most every day as well. She loves to follow me around and make sure I don't find a trap door or hidden exit from the bathroom or something and sneak off without her

She just keeps following the sun around the room for warm nappy times

Jasmine and Prissy get up at 6 am every morning and go outside. Then back in for breakfast, back to bed until 8:30. Then up and in and out as they please until their after noon nap. They have a huge fenced in yard to run in with lots of trees. Tag is their favorite game. While inside they love to play tug of war with their toys. They each take an after noon nap. Then in and out the rest of the day until bed time at 9:30. The also enjoy car rides, going for walks in the park and trips to petsmart. They free feed all day.

If I were a Yorkie I would want to be yours!

My Lily spends a lot of her day playing with the kids and other dogs (we petsit)
But really I think her fav. to do is nap

Yes she is a purebread LOL, she won't get out of bed too early even if I offer cookies.

She snuggles, goes for trips to Nana's and Grampas (they have two Yorkies).

We just got Mia on Friday and so far she follows Me everywhere, she likes her soft carrier. Oh and did I mention play

So much fun having two!

Haha I know we felt bad!! But hey I told him.. You come with me everywhere Like 99.9% of the time he is with me.. so I told him to not be a spoiled brat and wait for us to come home!! Haha.. They are so funny. When I am doing stuff around the house P is usually my sidekick.. I have a baby gate blockin our bedroom/bathroom/hallway and when I go and do the laundry I will just throw it on my bed and he will wait and the baby gate until I am done.. But then I felt bad so now when he sees me grab the laundry he will get excited and I will take the baby gate away... then he will jump on the bed ( with my help) and lay on the warm clothes!! haha

A typical day during the week looks like this:

Breakfast at 6:00 am when Rory commands it
Back in bed for a quick snuggle
brushed out, new top knot, get dressed
car ride to daycare
daycare!!!! - play, play, play, nap from 12-1 with lunch, play, play, play
car ride home from daycare
20 minutes of straight fetch with the "good" tennis balls (substitutes will not be tolerated)
cooling off period
dinner
playtime with the toys that don't meet the fetch requirement earlier in the day
5 minutes of "maintenance" clicker training
lazy time on the sofa
brushed out, and combed with conditioner and teeth brushing, into pjs if necessary
more lazy time on the sofa, with occasional spurts of zoomies and play

SPOILED ROTTEN!

On weekends, we do about an 1 hour and 45 minute walk to the park (round trip). Unfortunately, our dog parks are typically full of irresponsible people, and the only time my girls really get to go in there is when the small dog area is empty. We are members of a yorkie meet-up group and attend those meet-ups on the weekend they are offered too. We typically try to do any "dog events" in the area on the weekends too.

Ever think you would see the day when a dog lives better than you do?

Bud's typical day:
Up at 6 and for a 15min walk. I wake up during this walk
Breakfast at 6:30 then play time from 6:35-7:00am. We
talk, play fetch and practice our tricks, I drink coffee and wake up.
Brushing of teeth around 7:15am
I get ready for work and he chews his bone
Second am walk at 8:00 for another 15mins.
Treat, hug and out the door I go.
Hopefully he;s sleeps during the time I'm working.
Home at 5:30 and out for a 20mins walk, sometimes longer
if we meet friends.
Dinner at 6:00 and after my dinner play time again for
20mins.
Settle in time at 7:30. He snuggles in his bed while I watch
tv.
9:30 another 15mins walk and bedtime.
Weekends we spend together unless I run out for 1-2hrs.
If I babysit on Sat night Bud comes too.
Sun we chill and go for longer walks, watch tv together
or take a nap.

Sophie Kate has a part time job on Tuesday and Thursday she goes to my friends dog store and hangs out there all day while I am working.

Her typical day consists of

1. Up at 4:45 for a walk and breakfast
2. Back to bed at 5:30 while Mom goes to the gym
3. Another walk at 6:30
4. In her crate at 8:00 am.
Depending on the day she is at the store by 9:30 (my friend picks her up)
or - she naps until around Noon when her dog walker comes and takes her for a 30 minute walk (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
5. Home by 6:00 pm and out for anothe quick walk
6. Dinner by 6:15 (and chasing the cat).
7: Another walk at 8:00 pm (usually around 30 minutes). Time is usually spent walk with one of her BFF's from the nieghborhood.
8. Hanging out on whomevers lap looks the best until around 10:00 pm
9. Quick night walk and then off to bed with more cuddle time.

Weekends very little time is spent in the crate, I kind of have a rule that during the day if Sophie Kate cannot come we are not going. Exceptions are the grocery store but most time if we go out of dinner or shopping we take her.

With Sophie Kate hanging out at the store during the day she is beginning to become a mini celebrity with the downtown merchants. It is very strange when a store owner knows your dog but not you (happened last week at the Farmers Market this one guy came up and said "Hi" to Sophie).

We try to do the dog park once a week, but its usually 3 times every month (except in the summer when it's a lot!). We do a four mile walk at least once a week, and a bunch of 10 min walks every day. They play in the yard for a few mins in the morning when I wake up, do their business, and get their breakfast. Then, Scott takes them out before he leaves for work and puts them in their crates, comes home for lunch to let them out, and when he gets home they get to play

On Tuesdays Bandit gets to go to Doggie Daycare so Tuesday nights are bath nights.
