| As a new yorkie owner (Sully was my 1st dog, even!) - I had questions about him....can't remember what it was at the time, but I was surfing Google and YorkieTalk came up. When I started scrolling, I saw a thread asking about something we had JUST gone thru with Sully....so I was happy to give my advice, but I had to sign up 1st. So I did. I jumped into YT with both feet and never looked back. I never considered this being such a close, friendly community, but it's become so special to me now!!

| When I joined back in January, I did numerous searches in google. YT, at that time, did not come up in any of my searches -- and I looked through pages and pages and pages of results. I was referred by another member and have been grateful ever since. My post count may not be huge but I try to truly contribute and not just restate what others have stated or comment that I don't know the answer but I'm sure someone else does. I attempt to have substance to what I post. Lisa

| Well ... when Patrick & I departed the Ark, Noah said to us "Don't forget to check out YorkieTalk.com!!!! Seriously, I honestly cannot remember "how" I heard about it, I just remember we bought this tiny little piece of fluff in October, 2003 and I found YT in March, 2004! We were a small group mostly talking among ourselves. I credit YT with teaching us so much about this little breed and thank God every day that Dan had the inspiration to create it, and the fortitude to stick with it!!! Thanks, Dan!!!

| When I got Mocha (my angel) I was paranoid because I never owned a dog before so i had no idea what I was doing.. I wasn't planning on staying long, just get some info and move on but i love it here.. Even though mocha is long gone, I still enjoy reading about your babies and sharing stories about my Lily Mae

| I found out when I took Bitsy to the vet and they told me she was pregnant and that she would give birth in two weeks. I think I typed in something like "pregnant yorkie" and found this site. I was desparate for info because up until then the we AND the vet thought Bitsy was having a false pregnancy. Low and behold, Bitsy gave birth the very next day This site was a LIFE SAVER for me!!! And I've been hooked ever since. This is the first and only forum I have ever stuck with or participated in! I love it here!

| I was specifically looking for a Yorkshire terrier online group because I knew I needed info. I Googled "Yorkshire Terrier forum" and up came Yorkie Talk. What can we do to raise YT's Google rating? When I joined it was way down the list. I couldn't find it Googling "Yorkshire Terrier" or "Yorkie". I haven't checked lately. |

| I also stumbled into this wonderful place. After getting Buckeye, I started searching for info of any sort. the more i researched the more questions i had. seems like all the searches led back to YT. There is so much helpful information here and so many caring people. I feel at home here. I think I joined just before the big growth spurt.

| Same here, I was surfing the net looking for info on Yorkies. I lurked for a while, then I joined however it took me a long time to post. It was when Mac and Mellie were getting neutered and spayed that I made my first post. I was so nervous leaving my babies. I saw how compassionate & supportive everyone here was so I decided that it was finally time to come out of hiding.

| Hi EVERYONE!!! I told my fiance that I wanted to get a Yorkie and on his own he did his own investigating about the breed online. He came across this site and sent me a link and I was IMMEDIATELY (sp?) hooked. This is the best site and we both have learned so much and I think this site has us both Yorkie crazy, in a good way!!! I really enjoy everyone here and I really enjoy all the pics and home movies. Thanks to all for sharing! For sure I am a YT junkie... never get enough!!!

| My husband went out to Barona one night to play cards, I had a cold, so I stayed home and played on the net. I'm always looking for stuff for Princess, so I did a Yorkie search. Yorkie Talk poped up, and here I am! I just love this site, you learn so much, and get some really great links too. Sure hope my husband wins a lot, because I sure know how to spend it! You can really tell just how much the people on this site really love their babies. It's such a joy being here!

| I just joined this week after my Zoe had puppies and one of them has a cleft pallate and hairlip and I was desperate for information on this...luckily this was the first site I found and now I am addicted. There are soooo many wonderful people here and so much good advice that is given with the best of intentions....and so much knowledge....i can't tell you what is has meant to me to be on this site. It has taken away alot of the stress that comes with having a sick puppy.....now I could figure out a way to get some of you to come to my house and take a feeding at night so I could catch up on some sleep it would be greatly appreciated....any willing helpers????? lol |
