| It all depends on the dog. My daughter's MinPin Epcot was so spitefull after my granddaughter's birth my daughter turned him over to his other grandparent's to raise. We all felt so bad but this little stinker would go into the nursery and empty out all the baskets of clothing in the changeing table, drag socks under my daughter's king size bed so she could not reach them, chew up the baby's toys, go in the hamper and chew up clothes and pee and poop in the spare room. He was three at the time and they had him since he was 10wks. He was king and now a little princess was in the house and he would not accept it. Today he's 12 and when he comes, maybe 2 times a month, he ignores the two kids and sits on my lap giving me kisses. He's a big people dog it seems. He never touches the kids but just ignores them. |

Dalilah does that when Duke (our lab) comes in the house. she goes crazy starting to bark and she knows shes not allowed to so she will stare at me with those big eyes wide open like "OK i really want to bark and I will if he makes one wrong move!" hahaha its hilarious!

I know what you mean. Hopefully Yorkies have different personalities. Buddy loves the kids and I enjoy watching them play together. But Epcot, no way. He's a big people furbaby. | |

That is truely heart wrenching. Once you do get pregnant, however, you will be so happy and thankful. I will keep you in my prayers!! and thank you for the advice!

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Our granddaughter and all of my yorkies do well together. Kayla and Arianna are growing up together as they are a month apart. Our big guy Teddy will start to jump up and Arianna say in a deep voice "DOWN TEDDY" It is so cute. All my fur babies love babies and kids of all ages. It just takes patience and time for them to adjust. Arianna is now two and can name all the dogs and they mind her the same as they do me.

| When my mom was pregnant with my little sister, their dog Carmen was very protective over my mother. Once the baby was born, she became very protective of my sister. When we had people coming over to visit her as a newborn, Carmen wouldn't leave her side. It was amazing. Once my sister got a bit older, walking & talking, Carmen didn't like her as much LOL, but she always tolerated her and would even give her kisses.

| Nancy gave you some great advice. Brianna- Knowing you I think you are going to be a great Mom. I am not going to lie to you knowing your furbabies I can tell you its going to be really hard to try to get things balanced at first. I know Baby D will get jealous and she will act a little crazy but she will get use to it, she will learn that baby hayden is part of the pack. The same with baby L. You are going to be very busy you will learn how to balance things out where everyone is happy. I wouldnt worry about it. It will be hard at first but they will learn to adjust, you just still have to love them too!! You can do it, I know you can P.S I am sooooo happy I get to watch the furbabies next week!!!
