				   | No, this is not a post asking if your yorkie is homosexual. haha. My husband and I are considering getting another dog, largely so that Lucky will have a playmate and not be alone while we are at work. I was just wondering if it makes a difference if it is male or female. I have read that yorkies are better with other dogs of the opposite sex. Is this true? Also, Lucky is very energetic and playful with people, but she is nervous around other dogs. She has never shown any aggression when she is face to face with another dog, but she is not really anxious to play with them either. Do you think she would be best with another yorkie or with a different small breed? A puppy or another shelter dog? |

				   | I have a male and a female and they are really good together. They play together sleep together etc. I was afraid that my male would hump m female. I had them spay/neutered at the same time and theres been no humping. I like having one of both.

				   | I am in the same situation,(looking for a playmate for Baili) and I have been wondering the same thing. I have never had a male dog and was concerned about marking. I look forward to hearing from all the knowledgeable YT folks!

				   | I have a boy Maltese and a girl Yorkie -- they're the BEST of friends and love each other sooo much! It's hard to seperate them. They're constantly kissing -- it's so cute to see.
