| ![]() Daisy gets nervous in the car and likes to sit on my lap. Then she tries to sit on my husband's lap while he is driving. Back and forth, back and forth. So I got a Snoozer (reg size) and it fits just right in the back of our Ford Ranger. The little fold-down seats face inward. I put the seat belt around it and buckle her in. She can look out the back and turn around to look out the side window. It calmed her down and she just sleeps most of the time. Best Pet Bicycle Baskets, Dog Life Vests, Pet Seat Covers, Dog Trailers, Dog Beds, Dog Car Seats We used the Snoozer in the house as a little bed for a couple weeks and I gave her treats in it. Daisy is 7 1/2 lbs and has plenty of room in the regular size. Gas abtibe used THE TUBE??? Looks kid of interesting.

| ![]() Apple has a car seat for dogs, and she loves it...She has her harness on, and she is hooked to a little strap, so if I were to stop fast, she'd be safe.....She can see out of the window, or sleep, if she wants to...But, if she didn't like it, I'd still make her stay in it, because if she were in my lap, and we had a crash, even a small one, the air-bag would probably kill her...I have her seat as far back as it can go...The best possible place would be to have her car seat in the middle of the back seat, but I feel pretty good about her where she is...If I went on a long trip, I believe I would put her in the back seat... |

| ![]() I have Outward Hound car seats for Breese and Punken. They are attached in the back seat of my car, one by each window, so they can see out. I bought them at Petco a few years ago. They have adjustable straps that secures them and gives them enough room to lay down or sit. They are secured by their harnesses. These turned out to be the best investment for their safety. I put their little travel blanket in each seat. I was on my way to Arizona to visit my son and little Breese decided she wanted to escape. I had adjusted her strap and gave her a little too much lead. Need I say, I pulled over to adjust the strap on shoulder of the freeway and it only took about 20 seconds. Jumped back into the car and by the time I hook my seatbelt, a CHP was at my window. He asked me if I need help and I told him Breese had escaped in the back and was just hooking her up. When he looked the girls in their car seats he just started laughing. He said, " I've seen it all now". He told me, you take better care of them than some people take care of their children. Punken doesn't like the car but when she's in her car seat and at window level she fine. Just thought I would share this with all of you. Kathleen... Mom to: Punken Pie ![]() |

| ![]() Thank you so much for your carseat information. My Biscuit is 9 years old and has now decided he really wants to go for rides in the car....but he is quite a handful...he barks, cries, jumps from seat to seat. I will be buying a snoozer as soon as I can figure out what size to get...he is almost 11 lbs and is a large yorkie. I am sure he will be much safer in a carseat. ![]() |

| ![]() Couver has a carseat and sits in the back seat. It is really not safe to have it in the passenger seat because of air bags. He travels there very happily and even gets the window rolled (only half-way) so he can get some fresh air. He loves it!

| ![]() I just ordered the Pet Gear console seat for Sasha from overstock.com. I'll let you guys know how she likes it. Hopefully she does because it's safer than sitting on me or the console by herself. |

| ![]() Hi, I have the skybox type but I got it at Petco for about $50. My 9 lb guy loves it. I have it in the pass seat and he can look out, sit and lay down and sleep. Of course I have the seat pushed all the way back because of the air bag. I feel much better with him secure in his seat rather than in mine while I'm driving. |

| ![]() I have a PetFlys carrier for each of our yorkies. I strap the carrier into the seat and open the front. Inside it has a clip that I clip on to their harness that keeps them secure. Our pups love their carriers and will sometimes jump in there just to take a nap. ![]()
