| What to do... let her freeze????????? So it is getting cold here and Ella shivers so I bought her some sweatshirts. The problem is, is she hates them and acts like she is getting punished when she wears them. She mopes around and gives me sad looks. The minute I take her sweatshrit off, she is happy again and acting like her normal naughty self, but shivering. Its ridiculous lol. And the clothes aren't too tight or anything, she acts like this with anything on lately. So.... do I let her freeze and be happy or let her be warm and sad? silly girl... maybe someone could send one of their dogs over to tell her that she is not in trouble when I put clothes on her!!!!!!!!??????!!!!!!!

| Well I think you just let her get use to it. I had a yorkie that acted like I was going to murder her while I was putting her shirts on, she would wiggle, and bite me!! But I am bigger and I won. She would mope around and act like she was getting mistreated with it on, then I gave her some treats and played with her and she forgot all about it. after you put a shirt on her tell her she is a good girl and give her something yummy!! do that a couple times and she will love it~~

| I think that the more she is exposed to wearing clothes, the less that she will act like she is in trouble. Just make sure that it is cold when you are making her wear them, and she is not getting overheated. She will get used to it

| Sadie is like this too sometimes. I have discovered it depends on the fabric, weight and bulkiness of the article of clothing. She doesn't like heavy or thick fabrics so little sweaters are better for her then sweatshirts. She also doesn't like sleeves. She is claustrophobic like her Mommie Maybe you can try different types of shirts for her and find what works best. And sometimes you just have to let them pout it out and they will get over it eventually |

| Sushi refuses to wear them too. Literally stands stiff legged and refuses to move. Living in Chicago he's not going to have a choice soon |

| I just tell Daisy, "Too bad, you were just born a Yorkie, and Yorkies wear clothes and bows." Sweatshirt hoodies are great because they are loose and comfy. When it is cold, Daisy likes to have her warmie (a tube sock filled with rice and rolled in a flannel pillow case). They are better than a heating pad because they won't burn your pup.
