She does eventually warm up to people. Friends of mine that come to the house she does ok with. She will go to them when she is ready to be pet by them, Strangers, thats another story...if Im not holding her, she will just bark at them, but if Im holding her they cant just reach out to pet her. They have to ease her way and I have to talk to her and have my hand petting her up in the neck area. When we are out on walks, she does great, other than she will avoid other dogs walking...lol she never barks while out walking though and if someone bends down to say hi to her off her "turf" she will try and run from them. Only if she is at the house or in the yard does she bark at walkers,bikers etc...but never will get close to them. If they turn to say hi to her, she will run to the front door...lol
I just need to keep introducing her to "new" people....
I did get her when she was really young, and I know that may be a reasone for how she acts. I didnt know she was to young to be sold, learned that afterwards.
I live in Japan, and theres not anywhere that I know of to take her to some class. If there is, the language barrier is an issue...
