| Droopy Ears Does anyone else have a Yorkie with droopy ears. Oscar's (he's a year and a half old) ears just don't stand up. Well, his left ear kinda stands up but his right ear is totally floppy. Don't get me wrong he looks ADRORABLE just the way he is, but I was just wondering if he's alone with this.

| No Oscar isnt alone my Bells has droopy ears. Thought about shaving them to see if hers would stand but scared too. They act like they might if it wasnt for the hair when you talk to her she perks them up a little.... |

| So cute. Oscar's perk up a little too when he's excited. I did trim the hair and nothing. The tips of his ears are really thin and have some black pigmentation on them.

YT Addict | My Yorkie has droopie ears too! They go up sometimes, but they don't stay up for even a second. They just flop over and show the under skin of the ear, and flop back over. I find them to be a big on the Dumbo side LOL They are a bit big? He's also 7 pounds and 2 oz (just went to the vet today!) and he's 3 months old! We thought he was a silky, but the vet is convinced he just a big non-standard Yorkie! Lol! He's our Derby. The picture attached is from a month ago and he was only 4 pounds then. He is so precious. I love when they tilt their heads and look so innocent.

| are you talking about adding a pic? If you are, in the reply to thread, there is the attachment button (paperclip) just upload your pic there and it adds it to the thread.

YT Addict | No, you are not alone. Harley has floppy ears. I had his shaved at one point but it didn't help and he wouldn't let me tape them. He does hold them up sometimes when I'm talking to him but they never stay up. He's a cutie anyway! I do have alot of people ask me what kind of dog he is though...I think the floppy ears throw everyone off. |

| My Laci's are floppy too, they used to stand up , but dont anymore, I dont know if its teething for just that she has floppy ears... I would imagine by 10 months they should be up in the air.. her ear hair is very heavy so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.. Just the other day I had them shaved more so we will see what happens..
