Getting prepared for winter- any pointers?

Well Ive just come through my first winter with prudence,and Ive never had a puppy in winter before so the pee training was a bit of a pain.I pad trained her cause it was just too cold outside,but now spring is here she gets taken out side all the time and its starting to work.

Me too...a humidifier helps but I've still shocked mine a few times in the past! They look at you so funny and run away like 'Mom! What the heck did you do that for?? ' Winter sure has it's hazards...even inside the house!

Make sure you have warm sweaters & coats. I also have boots that Willy only wears when it snows. He hates them in the house, but as soon as he gets outside he doesn't mind them at all. While its snowing & before we can get paths for Willy to walk in, I walk him in the plowed street. So I feel it's very important to protect his little feet from whatever the road crews are putting down on the road. So he needs his boots.
