| This makes me angry. I was looking at a website for an area newspaper and found this poor puppy listed as a 'pure breed yorkie' for sale for $700. My first thought was that someone accidently posted the wrong picture. There's no way that puppy is pure bred yorkie. Someone will probably end up buying that puppy only to be sadly disappointed later on. Here's a picture of the puppy. |

| Me too! I am surprised they did not call it a rare-colored Yorkie and charge over $4000 for it! That is what happens when people pay no attention to the Yorkie standard, do not carefully watch dams in heat to make sure there were no surprise sires in the mix, do not carefully select breeding potential dogs, and don't refrain from breeding dogs that are way off the standard. Hopefully someone will spay/neuter this little one before it can procreate!

| It's a cute little puppy. I feel bad for it, too. Hopefully someone will buy it just because it's so cute and not care if it has papers because they are not going to breed it. Jackie & my Sophie |

| I agree with everybody. This puppy is not purebred. I hope a buyer is not trick into thinking he is buying a purebred Yorkie. The breeder needs to be honest with the buyer about the dog's pedigree. The breeder also needs to drastically lower his or her asking price. The price is ridiculous. The dog is adorable, and I hope the dog finds a loving home.
