| A tangled mess! hi all, so i have a question about grooming. No matter how long i spend each night grooming Ollie, the next day he's all matted again! I'm not really surprised but does anyone have any advice on products i could be using that could help with this? thanks! |

| Ive got one like that and Ive found the kindest thing I can do is keep him shaved. You can try cowboy magic or Ive heard corn starch works also. Another thing good to have is a dematting comb

| If you are talking about a puppy, I think we all go through that stage. My little Rocky is th esame way. But the good part is, those puppy mats are also easier to get out with a little detangling spray. I am using some Paul Mitchell brand for pets right now and it works well. Just spray a little all over when you get ready to brush, then a little more when you encounter a snag. Puppies will eventually grow out of the easily-matted stage if they are silky coated. The cottony coats may continue to mat easily.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I use Emu oil spary to get mats out of my 2 cottony coated girls. They mat so easy too.
