I live in Wisconsin, not too far away from the former ranch and I actually talked with Jennifer when I was considering adopting a yorkie from her. Her website made it look like she was doing such a good thing, saving these dogs from puppy mills when in fact she wasn't rescuing them at all. Thank goodness I didn't adopt from her! Through our email conversations my instincts led me to believe that something wasn't right.. she would not send me any additional pictures when I requested, and refused to provide me with other information and details that I asked for about the puppy. She also claimed that if we came to pick up the puppy it would be need to be a quick trip and we could not view the living conditions! I can't begin to imagine how horrible they must have been, then! Over the past few months I have read some truly awful stories about Jennifer and the ranch and I am so glad I didn't give a dime to this woman! And I certainly cannot imagine what pain you have gone through, dealing with the loss of your Kasey. I truly wish you the best of luck in your endeavors, and I hope justice is served.

I signed and totally agree! The person who thought they shouldn't be wasting money on this. but on other things such as the drug problem .... well, where in the world do they think these people come from? They all come from sick people in our society who have the same "dark side" ... I see no difference in them!!
