YT Addict | Eating poo All of a sudden Elvis has discovered poo, caught him eating it a couple of times now. Any recommendations on stopping this habit?

| Some members have used frozen unsweetened pineapple chunks added to the dogs food and it worked, you can also just give him a few chunks, it doesn't have to be in the food. However, my guy is a poop eater, I used this method for two weeks, it did not work. He is outdoor trained, he makes, I collect it as soon as it comes otherwise, he would eat it. Try that, like anything else, what works for some dogs, does not work for all dogs. I would try it for a week or two because like anything else, somethings do not work over night, it needs time. Let us know how it works out for you.

| Dixie did it as a puppy. I got chews meant for it at Petco and she thought they were great treats and they worked and she stopped. I did it for about a month and stopped the chews and she wasn’t doing it anymore. Most pet stores and even chewy have a version of the chews. There are so many reason they do it some can be boredom or even because it gets your attention. Why I think Dixie did it is because I believe she came from a bad breeding situation where either her mom was doing it to keep the crate clean or she was doing it because either that’s all she had or because she was left with it in a crate to small.

YT Addict | He doesn’t always go after it and we try to keep it picked up but sometimes he’s quite good at hiding it, we’re now finally getting him to go out and do his business. Abet never alone!
