I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Lol, that's so funny, but I know exactly what he means. I didn't baby talk to my skin kids because I was so worried they would have speach problems, and I had no idea how much baby talk I had built in me bursting to come out!

| That's awesome! DH doesn't baby talk, but he picks them up and loves on them while saying, "how's daddy's bub?" or something like that. What is it that's just too cute about a grown man loving on 4 lb dogs?!

| My kids think I love my dogs more than I do them since I baby talk the fur-kids and not them. Hubby does it too, all the dogs have baby names... Chevy is "how is my Chevy-Devy doing"? I think the dogs like him more than me!

| awww, what a sweet thread. Gotta love a guy that baby talks their pups. My SIL starts the second she see's Gracie Ruth. And then she'll continue to talk in that same funny high pitched voice to me. I just laugh and say, "Judy, stop & use your big girl voice." We'll both laugh and she'll say she doesn't know why that voice comes out when she see's G, that she never did it to her kids or any of her animals. I think it's that 'ol Yorkie magic putting a spell on her.

| When someone refers to my yorkies as dogs, I tell them not to say that word outloud because they don't know they are d*o*g*s (I spell it) and I don't want to hurt their feelings My family thinks I'm nuts |
