Have you done professional pics of your furbabies? 2 Attachment(s) Just wondering how many people out there have had professional pics done of their dogs? Last year, we had our pictures taken for our Christmas card, and anyone who didn't take pets was crossed off the list. The same place I got my cards done is doing a dog only session for $50. This includes the sitting fee, one 8x10, two 5x7s, and 8 wallets. Here is our Christmas card... |
Those are really good!! I want to have Sophie's done, but I've got to check around for reasonable prices. Our petco does professional pics and I may check them out. |
Awwwweeee!!!!! Those are so sweet! You have a beautiful family!!!! :ghug: I plan to. My friend took her two dogs in to a new pet photography shop and they did a wonderfullly beautiful job with them. I'd love to get Bijou done now as a puppy and when she's grown. The prices you posted sound very good! Please, post pictures if you get them done. |
I had an 11x14 picture painted of Max, Mandy, & little Tina. They were our mini schnauzers before we got out 2 yorkies. Max and Mandy have sinced passed and I would take nothing for that picture. It means everything when they are gone. Now we still have Tina and our yorkie babies, Kayla and Dudley. I will probably have theirs done too. After all they are my babies. |
I am having a photographer come in October. Its a gift for my parents for Christmas but it is more of a casual thing as opposed to a photo studio- I don't think Layla would handle the noise the lights make when they flash. Love your christmas photos! |

We have done professional photos twice--once our local pet store (they don't sell any animals) had a fund raiser for the dog park and we participated. The second time we were at a dog show and we opted to buy the disk of photos...I was not impressed with the photos from the show--I think a more controlled environment works better. Love to see everyone's professional and nonprofessional photos. |
2 Attachment(s) I have done professional photos several times. They make great keepsakes. I have had shots with me and my hubby as well as just the dogs in shots. Here are a few. I have some others but have to find them. The ones of Kee in the tub was from Wal-Mart. They will take shots of pets if their studio can be entered from an outside door. |

Thanks for all the compliments. :D All the other photos posted are awesome too. I will definitely post pics after I get these taken. I'm excited. I need to work with my other puppy (non yorkie) on behaving though. He is a little hellion, but SO photogenic. :) |
Okay, the date is set for Oct 2. I would like to find both of my boys something cute to wear. Chester is about 11 pounds. Roscoe, my chihuahua/pomeranian/rat terrier is also around 11 pounds, but he is leggy and very wiry. Any ideas?? Looking for recommendations from sellers here or websites online. And nothing that will break the bank either. :p |

No i have not yet but going to have professional pics done at halloween but here in Alabama its not that cheap it starts at $150.00 to $200.00 just for sitting fee yes that's is way to much but i really want the pic dont with my furbaby . And i want some good pic done with me and my little Sophie .. i have lost about 38 pounds ! so i cant wait tell i get them done :D |

I would love to have pro pictures done someday! I also want a family picture including the dogs, but my husband is difficult to persuade. At the moment our family is me, him, and our two yorkies, but I still think it would be nice to have a picture of the 4 of us. Anyone have any ideas? I'm actually pretty into photography, so I've been thinking that this year I will get something set up and take some nice pictures of my boys to frame. |

At our next family photo I was going to include her and I've been thinking about getting some professional pics of Fancy by herself too. I'm wanting some outside pictures taken professionally this fall as the leaves start changing colors - I think those will turn out great and have everyone, including Fancy color coordinated! |
I took 2 of my fosters to the vet today and they had a flyer up that a professional pet photographer will be there next Tuesday. The sitting fee is only $10. I'm calling tomorrow to get prices on the photos or packages that she has. I've already called the groomer to get them foo-fooed that morning. I hope I can afford this as I have been wanting to do this since I lost my 14 yr. old poodle in August and didn't have many good pics of her. I will let you know if we do this. I'm excited at this point. |
