| Sad news One of Luigi's girlfriends, Kishlyne, is getting sicker. She is a 5 lb Maltese, and she had some abnormalities in her blood tests. The vet said it may Leukimia. I feel so bad for her. I love her like she is my own. We always watch her when my friends go on vacation. I know this is a yorkie forum, but I thought we could say some prayers for her. She is only 6 years old. |

| Sorry to hear that, is there anything the vets can do for leukemia, if it is that? Do they do chemotherapy for dogs? |

| She was telling me they can do chemo, but it is extremely costly. And the chemo is no guarentee that they will be okay after. They will know more for sure in a couple days. |

| Oh that is so sad. I just saw a Maltese today at the bank drive through. He/she (?) was so cute looking and seemed sweet natured. Schatzie sends her doggie prayers out to Kishlyne in hopes of recovery and being in no pain.

| So sorry about your friends Maltese. Doesn't matter to us if it isn't a Yorkie ... we are all "yorkie nuts" but I believe that every single one of us just love animals regardless of what kind it is! We will certainly remember her in our prayers! Please keep us updated. Toto sends pupply kisses.

| Bless her heart. I'm sure if they try to do anything for leukemia it will be a long, costly, and hard experience. That is a hard treatment for a human to go through, much less a small do that doesn't have any understanding of what is going on. Many prayers to you , your friend, and her precious maltese. We may be a yorkie site, but I for one love all dogs and as much as we love our dogs, I know we sympathize with all owners for they love their babies a s much as we do.
