10/30 Meetup in SE KANSAS
 
We have come to a conclusion about Octobers Meetup will be in Fredonia, Kansas. Hopefully a lot of people can come. This includes everyone in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and so on... The meeting will be on Sunday October 30th and it will be a Halloween theme so bring your babies dressed up in their cutest costume. :D We are not sure on a time yet, that is open to suggestions. We were thinking about a BBQ, so we will have to have an estimate of how many people will be coming. You can just pm Emily (eshuser) or I and send us your e-mail addresses so we can send you directions to her house.
Hope to see lots of people there!!!!! :p

As much as I wanted to come, I just can't do an 8 hour drive. You guys are going to have a blast though and I sure want to see some pictures.

Sorry you can't make it...maybe we can plan another up north somewhere...I'd like to meet you. (But someone other than Staci and I have to plan it.)

I am hoping to be there, I will have to talk with hubby first.I am sure he will enjoy to meet other yorkie parents lol!

If it will make him feel any better I think there will be other men here...I'm not even gonna let my hubby leave!!!! He HAS to stay.:) We've got more manly dogs here too so they can gush over them while we fuss over the yorkies. lol

It is 4 hours one way. I am a horrible traveler and just can't do an 8 hour drive in one day. May be could fly down (jk). I'm really bummed! I so want to meet you all. May be one day it will happen.

So then is it set for OCotber 30th at 1 p.m. How does that sound to everyone. Emily, is that alright with you?

BTW, I am making some cheesecake. yumm. Does everyone like cherry cheesecake or plain?

Sounds good to me! BTW..I like plain cheesecake! Soooooo good!! But maybe you could bring the cherry sauce on the side incase others want it? :D Do you guys need me to bring anything? Pop, chips, etc..? Just let me know! Can't wait!!

tell you what..you can bring whatever you want...I don't have any of it yet, so you can bring pop, chips, paper prodcuts, or hamburger buns....whatever your little heart desires...and I'll pick up the rest. I agree with you on the cheesecake thing..I'm not big on cherry.

Ok, well I'll bring paper plates, cups, & forks. That seems easy enough and I won't have to worry if I got the right kind or if someone doesn't like it! lol! :D

Ok ya'll...I need to know what kind of pop everyone drinks...I can also make tea, but we do NOT own a coffee pot so I can't do coffee. Just let me know so I know what to get.

Glad to hear you're coming and bringing the hubby with you...I was starting to get in a little trouble. He thought he was going to be the only one, but now it looks like 3!! I don't honestly know what else we need, but Staci might have answered that, if she didn't pm me and I'll try to figure it out. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hey guys- I will check in to see how far Fredonia is away from me. I'm in the northwest corner of arkansas. We are about 4 hours from Wichita...I'm going to google it-I would absolutely love to meet you guys.

3 hours 51 minutes according to mapquest. I'm working on my hubby right now...who is busily calculating the gas cost at $3/gallon. He's gonna take a little work. I will let you know!

Talk him into it, mu hubby could really use some more male company..he thinks we're all NUTS!!!! Hope to see you...btw mapquest always calculates the time wrong...it shouldn't take that long....we're 2 hours or a little under from Wichita.

Yes, please come! More puppies!!! I can't wait!! You could also tell him that gas is $2.59 right now, not $3! :D Maybe that would help a little. Hope to see you there!

If I buy pop...what kind does everyone like? I think there's possibly going to be 12 of us. Maybe one or two more...so I hope that gives everyone an idea of how much to bring of whatever you're bringing.
