| New Yorkie Mommy Hi Everyone! I am brand new to the site and to being a new Yorkie Mommie. We pick up our sweet Zoey on Saturday and are so excited!! I have a question. We received a current picture and one ear is now standing and the other is still lying down. We already love Zoey and so it really does not matter what her ears do - but am curious what to expect. Thanks and I look forward to reading, learning, and becoming friends with many of you! |

| Hi! You didn't say how old Zoey is, but I'm assuming she's young. Yorkies ears 'generally' don't stand up until 3 or 4 months. They can go up and down many times before they stay up permanently. Teething will also make them flop back down, for a time. You can trim the excess hair off her tips to help lighten the load, but if she's under 4 months of age, I personally, wouldn't worry about it too much. Please post pictures after you get her home. We all love to see puppy pictures.
