| New here. Hi, I've been lurking around here since yesterday. I like it. Let me share a bit about myself. I just got my first yorkie last week. I have a cattle dog which has been the love of my life. I've had her since she was 10 weeks old. She is now almost 12. She has been diagnosed with arthritis and is blind with cataracts. She also has an underactive thyroid. I hope I'm good to have a couple more years with her, I hope. But since her health has been slipping to fast for me I decided to get another pup. I cann't see living without a dog. So I decided to go small, first time. I figure when the time comes it will make the grieving process easier. Well anyway, my first yorkie is so awesome. I never would have guessed. She's had alot of adjustments to make in this past week. Different people, riding in a car, sleeping a crate (which we're still working on that one), she rode with me on the riding mower, because eventually she will be on the motorcycle with me. She's helped me with my horses. Which she will be horseback riding with also. I have fallen in love. So off and on I will have questions, I'm sure. Loretta |

| Welcome to YT. Glad you chose a Yorkie. They are adorable. Bet it won't be too long and you'll have that little one sleeping beside you. Some of my Yorkie books say that Yorkies are one of the breeds that love to sleep by their humans. Enjoy your baby! ~Joanne~
