Poor Little Cobie Sending well wishes for you & Cobie! I have a tiny boy also, his name is Peanut, he's almost 2 lbs. but he is 16 weeks old. The breeder wouldn't let me have him until he was 14 weeks old. So far I haven't had any concerns but, I am always worried if he's eating enough, playing too hard etc. Peanut is my first little one so I'm constantly on YT reading all I can about the little ones, what to watch for, giving nutrical, small frequent meals etc. You will find good advice here, glad you are receptive to it. Good luck to you & your baby. |

i do believe Winhover vet charges are crazy... update on Coby well Cobys getting along just fine thank god thanks too everyones prayes for him.. it's working:) Cobys energies not as high as it was but its getting back slowly.. and we are taking it slow he's eating ever4 yrs and having nutri-cal every 3-4 yrs.. Cobys and amazing very tiny puppy.. he wants too live and i am very proud he is.. he started too get out of his bed off and on during the night i didnt want too put him in the crate last night.. because its so small and it's hard too see him in it and check his breathing. however he's up now and playing with his toys.. and biting on his teething ring the vet gave him.. on his first visit. I did contact visit about Coby being sick of course she came up with all kinds of excuses and also said Coby was in Hypoglycemia and this is very common in she use the word:mad: Teacup yorkies.. i told her well i dont believe in that word Cobys just a small yorkie and i need her too give me all his parents medical records so i can give it too the vet, so we can have an history on my puppy.. she claim she will but i dont believe her.. anyways she also gave me this a picture of cobys brother .. and she went on about how wonderful this breeder of Coby is :thumbdown anyways Cobys brother adoll just like him but he dose look more bigger then coby.. here he is Dalton - Yorkshire Terrier - Purebred Breeders - America's Top Dog Breeders I just hope this li'l guys ok goodness.. i'll keep you guys up too date on coby as much as i can.. and again thank you sooo much for the help and prays we couldnt do it with out god, you guys support:) |

Buying from this type of web site leaves me almost speechless...and what set of guidelines must a breeder pass to be considered a "Top Breeder"..is it the one who can breed the most poor quality puppies in one calendar year? |
yea its horrible but now i know and i'll never get trick in to this type of situation again i just hope coby will grow into a good healthy size dog later.. i can only look at it like other on here stated i rescued him thank god for that |

yea but its still hard all the time its gets soft when i wash it but it'll get's hard again |
feeding some with more experience may contradict this. But, and mind you this is just my idea. As small as he is, you may want to try free feeding instead of every 4hrs. I've been free feeding my girls ever since I got them, as they were just over 1lb. I don't think I have to worry about them overeating at this stage. Just a thought. |
yea i was free feeding him the vet said too feed every 4 hrs. if coby gets hungry i let him eat ..i too think free feedings better because he's so small he needs too gain more weight |
