| What size wire crate do you have? What size crate do you have your yorkie in? I was told to get a 30inch by someone who is very knowlegable abt dogs and has yorkies too. I received the pink wire crate today and it was HUGE! I don't want mooney to start having accidents in its so big, but i felt at 9 mo she was ready to not have to sleep in the carrier crate all night. Everytime she gets out in the morning she stretches like 3times before going outside to do her business. I just fed her in it so she can see that it is home and am getting ready to put her bed in it so she can get used to it a while. Do you thnk i shld send it back and get a 24inch? Thanks for your advice |

| i still use a carrier crate and its a medium cat cage not sure of the inches but if i put him in a wire crate he crys and pees and poops (and i got a 24 inch) it just seems to be too much room but if he is in his carrier he will lay down and sleep without a peep or a accident

| Hmmm, i know you can get a cover for it so they don't feel so open; I don't know I ordered it offline w/ free shipping. If i send it back then i will have to repay to ship it back. I shldve jst went w/ the 20 or 24 inch. The one i received is a 30inch but it did come with a divider so i guess i can put that in there if there is pee/poo issues. I just didn't realize it was going to be so big. |

| Yeah just put the divider in. Or sell it on craigslist and get a smaller size. We use the wire crates because I don't pee pad train mine. They go outside. We've got 24 inch for our girls. bv |

| I can't remember the exact size of the wire crate I use...I think it is 22" though. Anyway, we got it for Chloe to stay in during the day while I am at work. (I come home at lunch to let her out.) It has been great for us. She doesn't go to the bathroom in it, but she has more room to move around than in the other crate. She does sleep through the night in her plastic crate and doesn't seem to have any trouble. She stretches a lot when she wakes up whether she's been sleeping in a crate or in her bed! I wish we had enough room for one of the x-pens, but we live in a one bedroom apartment so my only option would be to put the x-pen on the balcony. I won't risk having Chloe disappear just to give her some extra room...and as she's only 5 months old, I can't trust her in the house by herself yet. -C

| Im not sure how big this one is..but this is the size I used when I was training Peanut, it is just big enough for his bed on half and a pee pad on the other half, and I bought one of those hamster bottles so he can have water if he needed it without him spilling it or taking up room.. This size worked well for me.. and at the time I lived in a small apt..
