You are the best Linda, your all bark with no bite and heart of gold. |
So true! This is exactly how I felt when I joined YT. I was amazed at all the expertise in so many areas that was available to us new owners. I have and will always respect those that came before me!! Thanks Debra |

Linda Can you pop over to Health section and help me out? I have a question there on the amount of canned dog food I should be feeding my foster. Sorry for the "hijack" I now return you to your regular programming - Earned Respect:) |

I have always appreciated this thread :). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That said, this doesn't/shouldn't just apply to new members of the forum. There are veteran members who have engaged in attacks as well. All members should do their best to offer a modicum of respect to their fellow members, whether they are new or veteran members. Respect goes both ways. Just like it can be earned, it can also be lost...and earned again. We should all make room for others' mistakes...and that doesn't always happen here. People learn, change, and evolve - and we should hold an open space for them to do so, even if it's only a teensy space based upon past behavior. :) |

Respect is a two way street  don't expect someone to be respectful to you if you are not respectful to them, doesn't matter how long you been on a board or what you know, respect has no boundaries. |

Let me bump this again Old or new members here, this is a wonderful thread, with many evocative and well written posts. We are joined all here by many different things, our love of Yorkies, our need to know more, our desire to find a Yorkie, our need to understand more about our sick Yorkie, our celebration of wins, of births, our grief over the death of our beloved dog, our interest in health, or diet, or training. This board has it all! It is one of, if not the most informative board in all petdome. And it is this way because of the very knowledgeable folks who have passed this way before, and by those that are still here. So let me lift two hands clapping to all our past and current members here. |
This was a great thread to read!:aimeeyork |
That was very well said.... I know I am guilty of saying things that do not come out as I mean them too but never do I intend to disrespect anybody. I guess I have been lucky since I joined this site because only once have I felt attacked and I did kinda deserve it but still..... |

I think I missed a lot of drama too!! But I suggest to our seasoned members.....Just ignore the negative posts if they have fewer than 100 posts. I've seen someone just bait us over and over again in the same thread! I really don't understand the pleasure they get in stirring things up! Having said that I want to compliment our many many experts on here. I have learned so much and had so much support in the past I would never leave YT. This place and you people have done so much for me and my little ones I will never be able to thank you enough. Hugs L |
good thread, I am not familiar with the OP, looks like she was very active but stopped posting this past June, very sad I wonder what happened |
The Op . . . Perfectly said! |
