| People think I'm nuts all the time! I even raised my hand when I read the this thread! Just this weekend my brother in law came over and seen me trying on Gus's harness that Joy made. I also had Gus's suitcase with all of his clothing in it next to me and all he said was,,,,,,,, Poor Tim! (Tim is my husband)

| People think I am crazy for dressing Pita even when it's not cold outside, I get flack for bringing her everywhere, having a stroller for her, putting her pictures on my checks and having a carpenter build special stairs so she can get on my bed...etc, GUESS WHAT!?! I don't care! She has made all the difference in my life, I got her just as my girls were moving out and she fills a void in me that nothing else could, if I didn't have her I think I could have possibly turned to alcohol or something... Anyway... my daughter sums it up the best I think: "Yorkie people are weird but cool at the same time." |

| Yep.. they all think I'm crazy. I see them rolling their eyes everytime I show them something new I bought for Desi. They think its a "phase" I'm going through since my youngest has graduated from college - empty nest symdrome. |

| Better sign me up for being nuts because my Yorkie is one of the most precious gifts in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is like a child to me as far as I am concerned. I catch a lot of slack for buying him expensive gifts that most people wouldn't buy for themselves. My husband and myself are both fortunate that our families are so great about treating Capone like he is one of the family as well. I think if we thought of our little ones as just another animal, than YT would be nonexistent. I think it is so great to see owners so proud and passionate about their babies when reading through the various threads. We definitely share a special bond in the love of the breed regardless of what walk of life we are from.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Maybe we're not crazy or nuts but a super breed of people who will take over the world with our Yorkies. THEN who will be laughing? Yeah, obviously, I'm crazy too.

| Just this morning, my hubby was sitting in his easy chair with Rowdy in his lap. I said to my husband, "Have you eaten anything yet?" (he doesn't answer) I say again louder, "Have you eaten anything yet?" (still no answer and I am standing right beside him). I look him in the eye and say quite loudly, "Have you eaten anything yet?" He looks up at me and nonchalantely says, "Oh, I thought you wer talking to Rowdy." See, he's just as nuts as me!!!
