YorkieTalk Newbie! | puppy crying my new puppy (13 weeks) goes ballistic when we put him in his pen. he tries to climb the pen and even pees while standing up yelping for us. is there anything we can do to help him, or do we just have to ignore him Last edited by milo_luv; 09-05-2009 at 08:47 AM. Donating YT 30K Club Member | He will eventually realize that you are not going to pick him up every time he carries on and should settle down. You could try leaving him for short periods of time and reward him when he is quiet. He needs to get use to your schedule which can take some longer than others.
