| Quivering chin Here's a sort of funny one for ya. When I first got Maverick, my aunt had a huge evil cat that delighted in puppy torment. He never actually hurt him - just liked to hear him scream. But it set him against cats for good. He has gotten used to my mom's cat now that she lives with us, and he accepts her and mostly ignores her - unless she is sleeping "hidden" somewhere and then he goes beserk. He gets scolded for this behaviour. A few weeks ago, he leaped into her cat house to "get her" and there was lots of barking and hissing (she's ancient and clawless and truely harmless) and when I scolded him and got him out his chin was quivering. He looked a baby on the verge of tears - I was so freaked out! I inspected him for a bite or something but there was nothing. He got into a tiff with my mom's miniature poodle shortly after that, and when they both got yelled at to stop, his lip was quivering again. I thought for sure he was hurt this time, because the poodle isn't as harmless as the cat. But there was nothing. He does this now frequently, when he's too rowdy and gets in trouble, he will look at me with that quivering lower lip and the saddest look on his face. Now we can add "how to get out of touble" to his list of talents - which also include "how to get carried home from a walk" and "how to get picked up when mom is more than 10 feet away". He knows I am weenie! But seriously, anyone else ever see the quivering chin thing? It's so weird to me. |

| I haven't seen that, but to talk about weird expressions - I give Moses a tablespoon of plain organic yogurt every morning & night. When he first smells the spoon, he grimaces! I swear he does! He grimaces, backs away and then comes up and eats it all, the whole time making a terrible face. It is so cute! |

| Diva does this also when she's really excited. Sometimes after squeaking her squeaky toy she will drop it and her bottom lip will be quivering. The same thing happens if the cat does anything that Diva decides she is not allowed to do, LOL. I just think it's cute as can be. Yorkies are more human than dog sometimes. |

| Yes my morkie puppy (Sake) does the exact same thing!!!! He does that when he gets too excited ot worked up! Or even when we're playing fetch and he is anticipating the toy being thrown!!!! He just starts getting all jittery, with the lower lip quivering....so so adorable!!!! I love it so much I sometimes actually hold on to the toy in the air and wait a bit before I throw it so I could see the lip!!!! Yes, I torment my dogs like that!!!
