| Been awhile so I'm updating about Karlee...we first got her 1 month ago exactly! Its been exactly One month ago today that we got Karlee!!! Its been a little while since I last got on these forums so I wanted to update how Karlee is doing and all our adjustments. I've really missed being on here reading about everyone's furbabies and how everyone is doing and can't wait to catch up. Karlee turned 19 weeks old yesterday....so in less than a week she is going to be 5 months old!!! Wow!! She is spoiled, spoiled, spoiled...but I would'nt have it any other way! She has learned to do so many things in just a months time with us, she is fully housebroken!!!! YAY Karlee! She uses her pee pads and goes outside- we are very excited because the first week with her I was thinking...what have I went and done bringing a housepet in our home and all this work! But the adjustment has been a breeze! She sleeps usually everynight sometimes she wakes up and needs a potty break (we use a crate at night) and so we let her out and she does her job and back ready to go to sleep-if she gets up most the time she gets up when we do. She's learned to not bother too much around the house we have trusted her the times we have to go get groceries or a Walmart trip to leave her out with a baby gate so she can roam around the livingroom and kitchen and hallway- she behaves good while we are gone (since we've had her she's only chewed a small spot on some baseboard other than that while we have left her out to go shopping she has done good. While we are home she's only bothered a couple things several times she has snuck in our bathroom and grabbed some toilet paper rolls! HAHA!! She loves toliet paper and tears it all off to play with the roll thats all she wants so I have to watch closely that she is'nt following under my feet when I go to my master bathroom we have french doors that stay open so she can easily get past me and to look to find a roll of toliet paper- it is sorta funny though she can shread paper quicker than a real paper shredder! LOL My hubby who was sort of against the idea of having a housepet...well...he Loves Karlee! He spoils her as much as Mommy does! Our two boys are crazy over Karlee too! They are always playing with her and Karlee thinks she 'is a kid' like them! She follows them and plays with them and when my youngest son is'nt looking she will go to his fisher price play town and steal the little play people out of it and play with it down the hall way! Needless to say our little play people have chew marks on them...LOL!!!! If she sees my youngest son coming her way she drops the toy like she was completely innocent! My oldest son who was scared of dogs (when he was younger his grandma had a dog that came up here everyday and followed my oldest son around everywhere that dog would guard my son if he tried to get too far up in our yard and would protect our son- sweetest border collie ever! Well that border collie someone speeding down the road run over him and after that my son missed that dog so much and started having issues not wanting to be around dogs at all and then eventually was scared of dogs...well now he loves Karlee and we have an outside dog that our oldest son now is not afraid of after he has gotten used to being around Karle alot he now is back trusting being around dogs- so Karlee has really been a great puppy and a good choice for our family!) I've been seeing a lot of zoomies from her she runs everynight about 50 times down our hallway! After she gets through doing that she has to dance in circles with her front paws up like she wants to play, its too funny and sometimes she looks like a little ballerina...other times she dances around it looks like she is doing karate! LOL we call her Kung Fu Karlee when she does this!!!!!! She knows when Mommy says her name she comes flying to me. She listens to me the best mainly because I'm here with her the most and my youngest son. My oldest son when he gets home from school Karlee is waiting by the door she puts her ears back when she gets really excited and her little tail moving back and forth quickly, as soon as my oldest son opens the door she darts around him in a million circles so fast that my son can't even pick her up she does this for about a full min then calms down long enough to let him pick her up and then she showers him with kisses!! She does the same thing to my husband when he gets home from work! Its really sweet! If I go outside and she does'nt get to come with me she barks like, Mommy you forgot me!! When I tell her no she will come to me and sit at my feet and just stare so sweet and innocent at me like I'm so sorry...she knows how to get her way! But she always listens when I say no she will quit immediately she knows I mean NO! If I say her name she comes flying from wherever she is at and jumps up on the couch beside me. More funny things, she loves to be held like a newborn baby and loves to be rocked! She loves to sleep with her belly shining (I have some photos of her doing this and she will even sometimes hold up her legs in the air on her back asleep...very cute and humorous!) Bath time she has gotten to where she knows to be still but she is ready to get it over and done with as soon as I get her wrapped in the towel its all I can do to hold her to dry her before she leaps out of my arms and zooms around the room dragging her face and sides around the carpet to dry herself off then she will after her bath go get in her doggy pillow and bury her face in it and dig around its so funny! Within about 30 seconds she goes from looking like a wet rat to a big fur ball! We crack up watching her- I figured this might be a yorkie thing? Does everyone else's furbabies do this after a bath? It sure gets us all laughing, our boys laugh and laugh while she does it! My youngest son has aggrivated her enough now that she wants to run after our heels but Mommy has had to tell Karlee no no on this and she's doing good listening..but if our youngest son aggrivates her she will occassionally try to nip at his feet but she so gentle to him no matter how hyper he gets with her. He loves packing her around and she seems to like it. She follows him everywhere and if he sits in the floor she will jump up and dance around him for him to pick her up. If my youngest son lays down for a nap Karlee wants to lay next to him! She loves to sleep by us or lay by us during the day. If I lay down on the couch she will lay on my back or side- lol! she is something else! Our family has really enjoyed this month with her and can only imagine how much more she will learn. Yorkie's are amazing little dogs! Also Karlee is quite the eater...she went from being a little tyke to a 'teapot!' She is in a Small size clothing already!! The XXS was what she did wear and fit good now she is too big for anything that size! It will fit but it only covers half her body! My mother in law even comes up to see Karlee and spoil her, she brings her toys, clothes and her favorite snacks. My MIL bought her a raincoat the other day but bad thing it did'nt fit the hood went over her head and the rain coat only covered a portion of Karlee it was so funny! Also Karlee's ears are now standing up! The trimming around her ears made them stand up that very day after I trimmed them!!! Want to thank everyone for all the questions you guys answered for me when I had them before and after Karlee came home and looking forward to catching up with everyone!

| Oh my gosh!! It's really good to hear Karlee ( love her name) is doing so well!! She sounds like a real "hoot" sometimes. Maybe she could come and teach my Abby how to be a good girl. Karlee just sounds awesome! I am so happy for her, you and your family!
