| yorkie vomiting My three year old yorkie will sometimes refuse to eat and then the next day she will vomit this yellow liquid, maybe several times. She then will eat later shortly. I sure would like to know the connection between not eating for a day & then vomiting the next day & then begin to eat again maybe in ten min or so. It happens periodically. Has anyone experienced this with their yorkie? Sharon |

| My Timba is 3yrs. also and he sometimes vomits yellow stuff a few times then he will go and eat his dry food and drink water... I'm not sure why they do this... I guess they dont feel hungry until their little tummies tell them there ready...... It doesn't mean they are sick... they just hold back from eating.....

| She probably just has stomach irritation from the empty tummy and stomach acids. It's really important that she eats more than once a day and definitately important she eats every single day. Have you tried to change her food to something she likes enough to eat daily? Also, if you post this in the Health and Diet section, you are likely to get more responses.

| This has happened to us too. I think it is pretty common. I keep food out so they have it available at all times. You can't make a dog eat if they aren't wanting to so I will try the yogurt myself and see if it helps I am glad I come across this post!

| Wow, I just got back from a walk w/Apple, and she did she same thing...A couple of minutes into the walk, she threw up some yellow stuff, a few times, and then off we went...she does this occasionally...I always wonder if she got into something and I didn't see it...But I can't imagine she could get into anything w/o me seeing her, as I watch her like a hawk...She's done it before, and been o.k...I think I'll give her a tablespoon of Kefir (cultured milk), before we go to bed tonight...'cause she doesn't want to eat supper tonight, either... |
