| ![]() A yorkie, that I may purchase. Is being neutered Thurs am. Would he be able to travel, by Sunday? It would be a 4 hour drive for him. He's 8 months old. Weighs 3lbs,14 ozs. I want to know if this is a concern, is it too soon? I am just so new at this! All comments welcomed!

| ![]() I would think as long as he is comfertable for the trip he would be ok, when my boys were neutered they were up and moving well by the second day, I would ask the vet to be sure though ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() As long as he has a comfortable crate with a soft bed and some water and maybe a little kibble, he should be fine. He'll most likely sleep the whole way with the exception of a potty stop and brief walk.

| ![]() Yeah I agree with the others... As long as he's comfortable he should be ok. Just make sure you make him a nice comfy place in the car. Cushion it real nice so that if there's any bumps he'll barely be able to feel it. Maybe also bring some benedryl. But when Bailey got neutered he was pretty ok by the next day so I think you should be fine! Congrats on your new baby!!!!!! Such wonderful news!!!!! ![]()

| ![]() Thanks everyone! It's not official yet. But I'm also helping out the lady who has him. Her husband just had a heart transplant. So if all goes well, we will both feel better!

| ![]() That actually may be the BEST time for him to travel longer distances because he'll probably still be a bit under the weather/tired so he'll most likely sleep the entire time.
