| Finally made 2.5lbs!!! Took the girls to the vet for their last shots! They'll be 4mths old on the 28th. They can finally hit the grass. Whereupon, Bug did the proper thing and Baby, of course did not...They are now 2.5 and 2.7 lbs. We're still shooting for 5lbs. Hopefully, more. We took all 4 k9s. Everyone needed something. Bear had an itchy leg. Baxter needed his eye rechecked. He got attacked by a rogue dog while camping in the spring (he was tied out, she was not) and his upper inside eyelid was pierced, he's been blind in it ever since. Large blood clot behind his eye was preventing them from seeing if the retina was detached and if blindness was permanent, etc... anyway...excellent news. Clot finally resolved..no detachment..he has vision!!! The girls did wonderful, nodded out immediately after their shots. Of course, Baby the picture Diva has a perfect bite, every tooth in place, turns out that Bug in addition to everything else is 'buck toothed'.. a horrible overbite, her jaw is misaligned and that explains why her tongue usually sticks out just a bit and looks adorable. egad I love that dog. I just adore every little defect on her. I don't know how to explain it.. I love them both equally, but different. I could gaze at Baby's perfection all day while I hold and slobber all over Bug...LOL, okay, well I sound stupidly besotted... I'm pretty sure it's the medication I'm on...

| I am glad your dogs are healthy too. I am happy to find out that Bug is not blind. We all should be proud of our Yorkies. I think all Yorkies are beautiful little dogs that make good companions. Thanks for sharing the good news about your pets. |
