Just look around your local pet store first...also try the fresh pineapple thing too. Princess was about or maybe even a little over a year old when she started. We done what we read about taking her out of the room (she would not eat pineapple and they both love van. yogurt and cottage cheese so that did not help us) she still does it some but once in a while. I started giving pro-pet puppy & small breed daily vitamins to both of them (although the food I give them is really good for them I just give extra vitamins) anyway I also heard this can help cause sometimes if protein is low they eat poop..... when I done this big change! My mom uses this to know and Molly stopped (although she stopped with pineapples) but mom gives her this just for a little extra help like we do!

Libby was a poop eater and it grossed me out! I did try the meat tenderizer...sprinkling some of that on both hers and Maddie's food, and it worked, but then I'd quit and she'd start again. I didn't want to keep on with the meat tenderizer as I wasn't comfortable with my dogs ingesting it, always wondered what long term effects it could have on them. Then I tried pineapple...I didn't know it was supposed to be fresh, and I used canned pineapple chunks. The dogs loved it and Libby quit eating poop and hasn't started back up. I just gave them each a couple chunks in the morning. That was probably a year ago or so and I don't remember how long I gave them the pineapple, but it wasn't probably more than a week or week and a half. I'd say give the pineapple a try.
