Has anyone ever given their Yorkie (or any dog) a party for their birthday~? I did last year and am doing again this year. What have you all done for his special day~? I'm getting him groomed, of course. In the evening, I am having people over with their dogs, and some are his neighborhood friends and some he never met nor have I (just friends with the owners). I'm getting a special doggie cake from "Three Dog Bakery" and everyone is bringing a dish. It should be a dog-gone-good-time

I haven't done one yet, but I plan to on my baby's first birthday in December. I like the everyone bring a dish idea, I'm excited to hear everyone's ideas!!

I have gone all out for both of Rory's birthdays. Her first birthday party was an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party - she was Alice of course. Her second birthday just passed, and we had a Doggywood (Hollywood) themed party where all the dogs walked the red carpet. We have held both parties at their doggie daycare, and I think all the guests, both human and dog, had a great time!

We rescued Lane last December and since we don't know her birthday we will celebrate her Gotcha Day instead this December.

I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan and I love the names of your girls! Theme partyies are a great idea.

Zeus has his first birthday in Nov. and I am looking into a doggy bakery for a cake for he and friends to enjoy.

Thanks! I have had several people tell me Rory is a boy's name, so I am always thrilled when someone gets it!
