| Hello I'm a new member need info. Hi, I just rescued a yorkie. He seems to be doing well. He is eating & drinking & running around. But for the last two days he has diarraha. Very watery. We have an appointment with the vet. on Monday. Today is Sat. I just wanted to know what to feed him to help maybe bend him. I have been giving him 1/2 can Oscar dog food twice a day & a little of Iams dry. I think the can food might be affecting him because he has never had it before. They were only feed him dry & never any people food. Does anyone have an suggustions till I get to the vet. Thank You, Aunt Lou |

| It's always best to gradually introduce a new food. Iams doesn't always agree with doggies. Might want to check out the section on Yorkie Heath and Diet. There's a list of high quality foods. Right now I am feeding Wellness to four of mine and EVO to one. Blessings for rescuing a little furbaby. I have four that are rescues from various places. ~Joanne~

| The new food you are feeding him might not be what he was eating before and that can cause the diarrea, also I do not do canned food as it is not the best for their teeth.
