| Not breeding your Females??? Please Spay!!! When I had my Small girl Toots spayed on Monday I also had my Oldest female Teddie (who happens to be my husbands favorite) spayed as well. When I spoke to vets office about how girls did he said they were fine but he needed to sp/w/me about Teddie. Now keep in mind for last 8 years I had fought with hubby over spaying Teddie.......... Well I get to vets office and he proceeds to tell me that Teddie would have been in trouble real soon.... I said how so he told me she had pyametra (sp) He said her female parts were in gourged with pus and totally infected!!!!!!!! Yikes she would have died in a short while!!!!!!!!! From the infection!!! Please ,Please, PLease, Spay and nueter your pets for if you don't you run a risk of them dying early and for what?????? Just to save them from the pain of the surgery?????? Thank goodness I told my husband he would just have to be mad at me but both girls were going.!!!! Please listen to your inner voice!!!!! Your pets may live longer!!!!

| Spaying also eliminates their risk of mammary cancer if done before the first heat. If done after the first heat the risk rises to 8%, after the second heat, 25%. |

| I'm glad Teddie will be okay. Thank you for sharing your story, maybe it will help someone else decide to go ahead and get their furbabies spayed.
