Senior Yorkie Talker | I have a 2 year old male Maltese Cody, and I too pondered the same questions. I thought hard about and long before I decided to get Cody a playmate. About 3 weeks ago I got Colt. An 11 ounce, 12 week old Yorkie. I would say the 1st night Cody was selfish with his toys (and he has a lot of them) but after that, he became the best big brother. As a matter of fact when Colt takes a toy away from Cody, he gives it to him freely. They play great together though Colt does wear Cody out often. I was so afraid of the "sharing Mommy" issue because the reason I wanted to get Cody a playmate was because he is so attached to me that if I do go somewhere when I can't take him, he goes through seperation anxiety really bad though I live with my boyfriend. My house can be full of people but if I am not here, he sits on the back of my couch, staring out the window, shaking until he sees me puul in the driveway. Anyway, I say go for it. I was hesitant but so very glad I made the choice to get Colt. I now have 2 little boys I love dearly. |

| I have two and they love each other, but I would take gatsby to see the little girl. I did that with Ivy and I felt better. As soon as they saw each other I knew everything would be ok. I don't have to tell you it's 2 times the everything, vet bills, food, on and on. But I would say go for it
