At least you didn't come back to find her vomiting and having bouts of diarrhea and with a bacterial intestinal infection , dehydrated and a vet bill for $70. Oh yeah... that happened....to me... Consider yourself lucky. But it still does suck that she didn't follow your orders. I feel your pain.

No kidding she should have told you right at the beginning of the conversation.
Then you could have made a decision as to whether or not to leave your furbaby with her. Taking a dog with you on vacations also brings about new problems.

That is one major concern i have about the raw diet. You never know, life is so unexpected even if you do not plan to , what if you need to board? Then if they do not eat or worse, if they do not handle the raw food properly and it gets rotten?

I would be infuriated! My two are so sensitive to everything, and anything that I give them needs to be closely monitored because of their little tummies! Iams is not a good food- and made my two have diarrhea issues!

They launched a premium food. I bought one bag and tried another day, not that i am planning to use it, i was out of food and went to the pet store to buy it, somehow their closing time changed and i did not know, so i was left at 9:00 pm with nothing but Wall Mart, it sounds too late but we have long days here during summer, anyways , i bought the bag of Iams premium, results: dogs pooping dark, very very dark, sticky almost and soooooooo stinky !!!! Not diarreia or anything. I had enough of the food we use regularly to mix in so it was not the sudden change. What the heck... i kept feeding it for a few more days just to be sure, 2 or 3 days the most ! Even my husband noticed and complained . I think even the dogs were turning their heads after they pooped...kkkk it was nasty !!!! I will never be using this food ever again.

I'm with you on this...I would be PISSED as well.
We spend alot of time picking the right food for our baby and to have that ruined by a paid boarder? And IAMS of all thing's.

I would be UPSET to say the least. When I go out of town, I have someone stay here at the house. I leave detailed directions, as well as put the amount of food in ziploc snack baggies so all she has to do is warm them in the microwave. She even tries to do a topknot bless her heart which she does not know how to do, but at least she tries. I am so glad to have someone good.

Glad at least you are now aware of it. Imagine not knowing and having continued with her sitting your dogs.

yea hopefully when we go places we can always take her with us!! if not maybe my parents will fall for her when they first meet her and they will take her for the time we're gone??
