| New User Needs Yorkie Help I am becoming desperate. My Yorkies Kandy and Chloe are going on 7 years old and even though they have a doggie door and go a few feet from it. They are ruining my wood floors and just making life miserable. Anybody ever have trained yorkies revert? |

| Hello and Welcome to YT!!! Sorry your babies are doing this. Do the know how to use the doggie door? Are they afraid of it? Could it be a urinary infection? Have they been to the vet for a check up? Has anything changed within your house? These little guys can get very set on a routine so if that's changed it may be part of the cause. Are they fixed? Maybe a marking thing if not. I've never had one of my dogs do this, but if nothing's changed then I'd go back to potty training 101 again...if you crated them, do that again and treat the potty training like they are pups again. Hope that helps. Again welcome to YT!!!

| doggie door Hi, Welcome. I had the same problem, they were afraid of the flap so we taped it up and that seems to help. Also my little one was afraid to step through it because of the little ledge on the bottom of ours. She finally learned that she could step through it safely instead of trying to jump or run through it. Keep trying your little ones will get the idea. Lila & Mia |
