For those with ponies/top knots

For day-to-day I put the top-not in a cracker, normally used to protect the hair in a show dog. Keeps the hair out of their eyes but doesnt pull like when using just a band.

That's why I started using cloth scrunchies. I was noticing that the groomers bands do pull some hairs out, and I was starting to notice some breakage, even though I careful cut the bands out each day.

Missy's hair is still down from last night, and now it's full of food and all crunchy No more "flop top mop top" for us. LOL! Now she needs a bath!

Same here...Pixie's hair on her head is very long so it can't be left down for long really...I have to take it out and comb her hair through 2 or 3 times a day because she's such a scruffpot! and when she's sleepy in the evening i'll take it out and give her a little head massage which she loves! I also use the soft baby hair bands for day to day and nightime, they are loose and comfy and don't bother her at all...if we are going out, it's rubber band and pretty bow!

I always took Isabels down at night and rubbed her head real good. I purchased her about 5 years ago in February from a lady who obviously never took her hair down. She had been to a groomer in October. How did I know? She still had the Halloween bow in her hair. Needless to say it was so matted I had to cut it out and she was almost bald for a while. So, ever since then, I used to take her hair down every night. Now, I just keep her short, so we don't have to worry about that any more.

i usually just use a hair clip to put milu's hair up, it's very easy to put on and take off. sometimes i will use a thin elastic band to put her hair up, but i always take her hair thing out at night and message her little head/scalp.
(because i know that my scalp gets sore if i have my hair up all day)
