| Puppy Training Classes I took my 3 lb Lucy to Sirius Puppy Class 1 last night . There were 6 dogs in the class. Three of the dogs weighed at least 30 lbs. During puppy play they all took turns pouncing on her then all at once. The trainer said she would let them know when she had enough. I don't agree with this method. A thirty pound dog could crush her ribs or punture her eyes. Needless to say she was traumatized and couldn't concentrate on learning. She would run to a corner when the dogs would approach her. All she wanted was for me to pick her up. She did fine with 2 smaller dogs in her class, and has been socialized with dogs that are owned by friends. I pulled her out of the class because it was not a good experience and I don't want her to be fearful of big dogs. Does anyone know of a class that is geared for small dogs? I am so disappointed.... and I can't seem to find any on the web. Please advise. __________________ I love Lucy!!!

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | Im from the UK so I can't help you much with the puppy classes but for what its worth its very much the same here. I took Tia to puppy classes and there were about 6 others there and 4 of them were staffs. Well they terrify me anyway so I wasn't feeling comfortable when they all needed to be let off leash. I stopped going after about 6 wks . I wish they had small dog training classes too.
