Where are you from I would love to adopt him... |

His name is Thumper. At this time he won't come near anyone but my 5 year old and my neice. He loves to be held. We are located in Southern Ohio. He does seem to be housetrained but he is very timid. I think tonight he will have to sleep with my daughter and maybe that will make him feel more secure. My husband still says there is no way we can keep him but I am sure hoping he will change his mind. If you are interested, please let me know. We would be willing to travel to meet you but we want to make sure he goes to a loving, inside, forever home. He does seem to be afraid of Addi and Romeo. His former owner said they use to have another dog and he liked playing with him but right now he will growl if the dogs come near him, so I don't know how he will be around other dogs. I do know he loves children and he is very smart. |

Gosh, he sounds like a prize!!! He's probably acting that way for the most part because he's been taken away from the only home he's ever known and he's scared and unsure of everything cause it's brand new. I wish your hubby would give in too!! I'd just bet in a few weeks after he adjust his temperment would change dramaticly (sp?) He's probably wondering "what the heck" is going on!! I know that if you can't keep him you will be careful to find him a wonderful forever home! That's gonna be so important for the little guy!! |

Thumper...that is the sweetest little name :) I love Thumper! |

YAY! You're a hero! I wish I could help the little guy find a home. I am SO glad that you saved him, and I hope you get to keep him!! |

He is really cute! I hope your husband changes his mind and lets you keep him. |

Gosh! He's so cute and I love the name Thumper. Your daughter is precious, too! :p |

I love this! Thumper has been rescued.. but he just does not know it yet.. he will be fine, and some one on YT will be able to take him home..! |

Aww. I wish I could give him a home, but I'm sure if you're husband doesn't give in soon (which is almost impossible, I mean it IS a Yorkie we're talking about) that someone on here with take him or help you find a place for him! Good luck!!!! And I love the Thumper name, we're looking for Tucker a friend, and can't think of any good T names, I think we mighta found one, lol! Keep us posted! |

This a great follow-up on this story. life couldn't have turned out better for this little treasure. |

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! Another hero to a little Yorkie. Thank you so much for getting him and caring for him. I do understand how people have to make life-changing decisions and sometimes those are heart-breaking. I am not defending him but I have seen so many situations in the years I have been breeding and helping rescue toy dogs.. I hope a forever home comes around really soon. In the meantime he is in a loving home and can only benefit from being loved.. |

Thumper update! He is doing much better today. Our groomer is going to trim him tomorrow and give him a bath. I am not sure how that will go but I think he will feel much better. I will take new pictures tomorrow. |
