Well, Here's what we are going to try. My husband is going to call him a little before ten(he said not to come before 10:00) and tell him we want him and will be there at 4:00. My hubby is not really pleased with this. I said I would find him a good Yorkie home (if this doesn't work out, I might have to find myself a good home, also). I am hoping my husband will fall in love with him but if not at least I can make sure he goes to a home that is right for him. I'll let you know what happens. |
My husband was less than thrilled when I brought Bitsy home too but after 24 hours he fell in love :) I hope this works out for you!!! I hope you get him and I can't wait to see pics if you do!!! |
Just Terrible! How can someone sell a living, breathing puppy off the same why they'd sell a table? Makes me sick! :thumbdown I hope you are able to rescue him in time. The poor little guy deserves a loving home. |
Definitely keep us posted on this situation! I hope you get him! And if/when you do, WE WANT PICTURES of the little guy!!!!! lol |
I can't wait to hear the ending of this one!! |
I hope everything works out! Please keep us posted! |
oh wow - I'm catching up today and just saw this - does that man know ANYONE could buy that little yorkie and do ANYTHING to him they want ? Many people who hunt garage sales will buy things only to re-sell them and someone could snatch up that little doll and sell him to someone who doesn't have good intentions - that poor baby - imagine his parents putting him up for sale like he's old furniture....that's so sad - PLEASE let us know what happens - you're a good person for calling and trying to help this little guy ! |
Well I really really really hope you get there in time!! I can't believe the man would sell his Yorkie like that. But keep us updated!!!!!!! It's about 4 now... and I'm so anxious for you! ;) |
I have been thinking about this all day. I hope hope hope you saved the little guy! |
Me too! I can hardly wait to hear and keep checking :) |
Me too!! i wanna hear the update! |
Please keep us updated. That is so hard to believe. I hope that you are able to get him and everything works out. Good luck, looking forward to hearing how things went. |
2 Attachment(s) Well, you guys are not going to believe this story. My husband called the yard sale man this morning and said we wanted the dog and we be there about 4:00. When we got to the house this adorable little Yorkie comes running out of the house. The only problem is he has only been around this family and he is scared to death of us. He is barking and growling and backing up. The man shows us the tricks he can do, sit, stay, play dead, etc. and these are all with hands signals. He tells us they are moving to an apartment and can not take him. I ask where he got him and he said the same town where we got Romeo. He is Romeo's brother(not from the same litter). He was purchased from Scott (who is a YorkieTalk member). I had to get him out of there so we paid him $200 and brought him home. He is terrified. The only person he has warmed up to is our 5 year old daughter. My husband says we can not keep him and I have to find a home for him soon. He is adorable and housetrained. I feel so sorry for him. How can I make him feel more at ease? Can you guys help me find a home for him? I am not in a hurry and I want to find him a good Yorkie home. I am going to email Scott and tell him about his puppy. |
You are right, I cannot believe your story :) Soooo glad you posted! I am so excited I didn't even look at the pics! I sure wish you could keep him but thank goodness you got him and now you can find him a good home, hopefully to someone on here! Isn't it a small world!!! |
He is gorgeous!!! Poor little fellow, your daughter is a cutie too :) |
