| I am so glad I am not the only one with this problem.... The only time mine get bows is when they go to the groomer. |

| When you have bows with those small bands on them, first put the hair in a top knot with another band. Once that is done, just slip the bands from the bow over that. Hope this helps!

| Lol I am horrible too at putting a band in. I always turn Ella around to look at her ponytail and 3 outta 5 times its too tight and I can see the white part of her eyes. Looks like she is looking at me like, seriously mom? Freaks me out everytime lol I feel so bad

| I don't have any pictures of them with me here at work, but last year I found some tiny irradescent dragon flies whose intended use was to hold orchid stems to support sticks. You squeeze the wings together, which opens the jaws ... If you can get a rubber band in first, then put the dragonfly on, it's absolutely adoreable. So, if you go looking for cute clips, don't overlook the plant shop! |

| Oh, good idea. I was using the bow only. It was getting frustrating because I usually have to cut the bow off because the band was getting tangled in the hair. This should prevent that. I am learning so much from this site. Thanks. |

| You know, its a skill like anything else. The first diaper I put on my kid just about slid off, and I couldn't paralell park for months after I started driving.... Poor Fergus just looks at me now like "oh , God, here she comes with a comb" . I do much better with the barrette bows than the band ones. But keep trying! it'll get better! Here is one of my earlier attempts!

| I found a simple way to do things for now, I purchased some tiny clips at walmart and slide the open clip through the back of the bow and just snap the clip on with the bow attached, so easy!!
