So she does have skinkids. I wonder what corners she's cutting to raise them??? |
Think of the pain that dog went through when the puppy was pulled out! How does she if she did damage to the dog's insides? When you buy an animal it is a companion. Not a money making machine. I breed Sphyx but responsibly. I sure don't cage them. Don't believe in it. I only have one male and one female and lucky to breed every 2 years because I want someone to want the kittens first. I can tell you that there is no profit in breeding animals. |
I agree that this story is sad but I don't think it is because this girl is a horrible person. I think she is an uneducated person that doesn't know any better because there hasn't been someone there to guide her and teach her. Remember, there are still a few people out there that don't know about Yorkie Talk and the wise members and information that exist here. I think the OP is a great friend that is looking for a way to help educate her friend... not steal her dogs or get her into trouble. No matter how you slice it, it comes down to pure ignorance. There is nothing wrong with them giving the shots or docking the tails... many breeders do this and as long as it is being done sanitary and the correct way then so be it. Maybe instead of concentrating on how horrible this gal is, maybe we can come up with clever ways to help the OP to educate her friend. It is a sickening situation, but one that won't end unless we ban together to spread the word and educate these people... right? |

I stated in the post you quoted that I have seen animal cops investigate these matters and determine if the animals were neglected by the state laws. If they determine the breeder neglected the animals, then they will do whatever they have to protect the animals according to the state laws. I am concern about the animals welfare. I want the best outcomes for these animals. This breeder's actions might seem cold (irresponsible breeder), but there is a possibility that she is ignorant about how to breed dogs properly. When I watch animal cops dealing with this matter, they explain to the breeder how to take care of the animals according to the state laws. If the breeder chooses not to follow the law, they take the animals away. I am hoping the breeder will decide to do what is best for these animal. Jasminir, as long as you follow Yorkie Talk rules, then you will not get ban. I am not going to hate you for having a different opinion than mines. :) |

I agree. The op came here in hope in finding help on what she needs to do. not everyone asking her how can she be friends with someone like this. Lets all try and help her by helping her to educate her friend in hopes that it helps this poor mommy dog and her babies. I to feel bad and almost sick at reading about the one stuck and them just pulling it out the next day.how painful that must of been for her. and about the momma dog and babies being left out side. to the OP I hope you have called someone and reported her by now and I hope that mommy dog and pups get the help and care that they need. and thank you for making a post about it and trying to find help and advice on what to do. |
YorkieShadow, I agree with your post too. :D I hope she contacted the Humane Society for the welfare of these animals. I know we all want what is best for these animals. I know we can all come together to help resolve this issue for the animals. :) :yorkietal |
Hi, Any updates on contacting any resourceful groups that can help with your friend. |

Yep.. it is easy for us to try to visualize her just grabbing the dead pup, but I'm sure she was "gentle" about it.. the OP has known this girl for 8 years and says she is a good friend. I know several people like this. The ones that are always trying to make a buck and doing the latest get rich quick schemes. There are plenty of dangers to having puppies outside, however, it is summer time so its not like they are going to freeze to death. Animals have been giving birth and having pups outside for 1000's of years. We look at our Yorkies not being able to imagine leaving them outdoors so it is hard to fathom someone else doing it. Being outside is not neglect. As long as they have the proper shading (under porch), food and water. The humane society is going to probably say the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with it, it breaks my heart and I can't imagine doing this to my own girl and her babies but it does happen and will continue to happen until we stop concentrating on the person's character and deal with the issue at hand. Which is education. |
