Thanks for your concerns. This little guy was saved by a wonderful soul, whom tried to find his "old" family with no such luck, he took care of him and gave him love. He tried to find a "new" owner for him, but decided to place him into the loving arms of Kit whom runs the Florida Yorkie Rescue. He is safe and is on his way to a fresh new start

Hey fellow YT's just giving you peeps a quick update on the pup. Yorkie rescue contacted me and left me a voice mail indicating that the yorkie is in good hands and is happy in his new foster home until he gets adopted apparently where he is at its like disneyworld for pups which i truly believe because florida yorkie rescue are good people. Kit had also informed me that she already has a couple of eligible dog lovers to adopt the little guy!!

so everyone in YT i am glad to say theres another one saved!! hehe.
and just to clear things up trust me i did all that i could to find the original owners including spend hours searching many lost and found websites including craigslist. I also went to many vets hospitals and shelters to see if anyone had posted a lost dog sign. I also printed out about 100 or so fliers and posted them all around the city where i found him indicating that if anyone had lost a yorkie male to contact me and have the chip number or any form of identifying the dog ready.( no one called ) But the important thing here is that the little guy has a home now!!

What a fabulous little foster boy we have taken in. My partner Margie is fostering this little boy and named him Wallace because it means "stranger" in Gaelic.

In any event Wallace is having the time of his life... and Margie says he is the best foster boy she has ever had. Here are a few of her emails to me:

"Wallace is a very good boy. He slept quiet next to me all night. I took him out this morning and he did everything I asked. I think he is housebroken except for the marking and when he is neutered that will stop. So far he doesn't bark but I expect that to change. I don't know a yorkie that doesn't bark. The more I look at him the more I think he can't be more that 2 yrs old. His teeth are young and so is his coat. I will let everyone know how he does tomorrow at the vet. Yeah another great foster."

And another email:

"OMG,what a great dog. He walked on the beach as if he has spent his days there. I even took him into the water. I will take him with me every time I leave the house. He is a pleasure to have around. I just love him"

So it seems that this little yorkie boy is fitting in perfectly in his foster home. He certainly has a lot of little dogs to play with and he seems very social. Margie says that he does like to stick to her side like glue so perhaps she should have named him "Velcro."

We have several great families lined up and we will be doing home visits and interviews with them this week. Than you for all who has asked about Wallace.

Margie sent me pictures as soon as she picked him up. He does need a bit of a "trim up" but kudos to the man who found him; bathed him, fed him and brushed all of his mattes out. Wallace is definitely a diamond in the rough and he sparkles just a bit brighter every single day!

Another happy ending is just around the corner!
