| When Sadie can't go with us she stays at my friend's house who has seven Shih Tzus. They are bigger than her but she loves them. I have them keep her in her playpen when they aren't home but some of them can jump in with her. I wouldn't feel comfortable with her loose with them but they aren't that used to being together and she's not used to being loose at home when we aren't there either. They really all get along great. Your puppy looks a lot like our little Missy. She was our Shih Tzu that died before we got Sadie. She was 15 years old and was tiny for a Shih Tzu. We loved her size. That's why we got a yorkie. She's a doll and I'll bet they'll be great together. |

| Oh how sweet. I remember 10 years ago rescuing a sweet little shih tzu girl from a puppy mill. She became such a little mother! (I, of course, speak of Cassie.) My yorkies love her to death. You are making a good choice! |

| That's really small for a Shih-Tzu. That's the size Missy was. I wouldn't worry about it. You're going to have her from a puppy so she'll grow up with Miss Muffy. I'll bet they'll be fast friends. Miss Muffy will probably be the little mother! If Sadie were with those dogs she stays with all the time I wouldn't worry - I'm just cautious because they aren't around her all the time. None of them has been the least bit aggressive with her. |

| Hi there, Have you gone and seen the puppies? In the picture of the Shih tzu it was hard to see the face, normally in a pure bred shih tzu the face is smooshed in a lot more> I did not see that in your pup? Just curious? I brought home a 7week old shih tzu akc . I also have a 16 month old female yorkie. They get along great. A shih tzu is a very docile breed, by nature. They are awesome . Very sweet, loving, and adorable. My yorkie has taught our puppy so much. our Puppy follows the yorkie around all the time, their the best of friends . By the time your new puppy is finished growing, he will probably will be bigger then your yorkie, however, they will be very good friends. Just make certain that if you have different sexes to have one of them fixed. My little shih tzu is up to 4 lbs right now . Still a lot smaller then my yorkie, Suzi. But, her paws look bigger then Suzi's LOL . Here is pictures of Miley, my Shih tzu at 7 weeks old.
