Embarassing Question, but I have to ask
 
For those of you that have pups that sleep in your bedroom or in bed with you, what do you do with them when you need mommy and daddy time??

Ha ha! Well I know its probably sick but half the time peanut hangs out on the bed in the corner lol or he just goes in his bed...I dont really care =) He stays out of the way too =) hehe

Ha ha! That is funny! Fiona and Honey will usually stay on the floor, and sometimes Fiona will lay right next to me, and I get sorta freaked out, so I make her get down! ha ha! :rolleyes:

Same here . . .:D If you put them on the floor, they just bark to come up . .and sometimes in the process Brody tries to lick my toes . . .kinda weird . . .I know . . .hahaha

i don't know if i can have her in the same room, would it be too mean of me to put her in her ex pen until it's safe for her to come back in, or just shut her out of the room awhile??

hahaha ya those little yorkie freaks!!!! ahh that is toooo much!! I know you all dont want to hear this but we are on the subject so I will just go with it haha

I have no problem with peanut up on the bed with us..but after he sniffs around and licks the sheets hahaha eeww!!!

No I dont think that would be mean at all..Just give her some toys and her bed and she will be fine! Wait till she gets older to introduce her to that kind of adult thing!! haha =)

OMG!!!!!! My boyfriend's dog Honey was licking my feet the other night, and i was like holy crap, this is too strange! so we kicked them out! that is so funny you mentioned that!!!!!! :p

oh my, i guess they would though wouldn't they? i think i'm going to have to just keep her out of our room, i don't think i can get over the "i'm being watched" feeling

Mine are on the bed lol. They are on top of the covers and we are underneath. We have a king sized bed so theres plenty of room and they usually just lay down and go to sleep

that wouldn't be so bad with a king sizer, we have a queen it could get a little uncomfortable for me.

Ha yeah at first I was really creeped out by the fact pnut was up there with us..but after a couple times I got use to it! He just lays down and tries to sleep haha

HmmI never thought of that we have a cal king so pnut has tons of room he usually will just go up in the corner some where...

OMG I'm so glad someone actually asked this question because I'm actually thinking the same thing Roxy started sleeping with us as well and I just felt weird because there are times when I wake up in the middle of the night and she is just there watching me n its weird because HELLO its dark hahahah I might just have to introduce her to her kennel again to go sleepy :rolleyes:

Sorry! They get kicked out with the door closed or we end up getting watched or noses where we don't want them! That's our time, wouldn't do it in front of the kids would you. Also since there is a competition for attention, our would want to be in the middle or things, HaHa, don't need that.

I'd say it's whatever you are most comfortable with, and whatever works for skinkids works for the dog.

that's how i kinda feel about it, was thinking it would be weird to have a baby in the room with me, so it feels just as strange having a pup in there too, i think i'll just shut the door or crate her up or something nice like that... we've got awhile before she'll be joining us in bed anyways due to house breaking

I honestly dont find it that "sick" to have your pup up there.. I mean peanut goes with me in the bathroom...in the shower when I am changing in the closet..I know he is still a little dog and I think they watch bc they find it interesting esp seeing "mommy and daddy" doing something they hardly ever see..To them its got to be interesting...Peanut has seen it soo many times he doesnt even watch anymore lol...

too much, too much, it's one thing to let him in the room and have him lay down, but if he was "watching" me, i think i'd get a little creeped out, haha,

i'm sure it's fine, just don't think i could do that.

They arent skin kids they are dogs. They dont even realize what we are doing. And as far as their noses being in the wrong place if they get up and around us we just tell them to lay down and they do. Its to each his own when it comes to that

I dont really think you can compare a kid to a dog...but thats just me I would never do it with a child in the room no matter what age but a dog is a little different I think.

Ha ha to each his own I guess, I am just really comfortable with myself and my sexual self.. I dont really mind it.. Besides I am not really looking at peanut to see what he is doing, when we are having "mommy and daddy" time I am just focused on us =)

i hear ya there, there's a difference in human minds and doggie minds, i mean it could tramatize a child, and be very inappropriate depending on the age of the child in the room, i know some peeps that have newborns in there, but not walking, talking toddlers obviously

but yea i don't think a doggie would be affected mentally by it, just make ME a little weirded out to think about. she'd be completely oblivious to it i'm sure.
