I am so glad this was posted...I've been wondering about this also. Harley does the humping thing too. Me and my husband can just be hugging on each other or showing any kind of affection and Harley will start humping one of our arms. If we push him away he gets aggressive. He has been neutered but it seems like he knows what is going on. It's very strange to me.

My poodle was exactly like that. Hugging or any affection started her going. She was a female. I know that humping is a dominance thing but it sure seemed sexual when she did it.

My DH and I close the door. Marley barks for a while and I laugh which makes things kinda awkward but then it stops. If she can hear us having "mommy and daddy time" she will start barking and scratching at the door LoL sorry if that was TMI... but hey, this is the thread topic. I just couldn't have her or Colt in the room, I don't like the "being watched" feeling. And my DH doesn't like it when either dogs sniff his crotch so I KNOW he wouldn't like them watching him throw down his "moves" LoL

This thread is too funny! Before we got Tobie, they would usually just get kicked off the bed but Tobie is too nosey and would have to check out what mommy and daddy were doing so now they all get kicked out of the room. LOL. Problem is, the WHOLE time Tobie sits outside the door and scratches and whines... this happened the other day and hubby and I kept laughing. Talk about ruining the mood! hehe

i think my Sadie will be put outside our door with a chewy so we can have privacy and no cold noses...my hubbie mentioned something about the 40 yr. old virgin movie having a scene or comment about dogs licking feet, and i told him that some of you have said that really happens to you, he was laughing...

Ruining my love life "HELP Please"
Every time my hubby and i get "intimate" my little george gets upset and starts barking like crazy, if I lock him out of the room he cries to be let in, I've put him down on floor but he still barks till we stop, I'm afraid my husband is getting annoyed with him, George"s bark is so shrill it's hard to ignore, any ideas would be much appreciated.

Not sure how to get link in here but used cut and paste, anyway I had this problem a while ago, the best answer was practise more and it works as my baby just gave up and sleeps on floor till we settle down but he does still do a little annoyed growl before he hops off the bed and like another post said he like to sniff around sheets afterwards, just have to be patient.

At my age, it's the excuse "not to".., if you know what I mean...lol "oh my Mia is right here and I don't want to disturb her".... or "ahhhh look at her, she's so sweet when she's sleeping, we have to be quiet" or "not tonight Mia's not feeling well"... I could go on and on..... Love it......

Roxie used to sleep at the foot of the bed during mommy/daddy time. Until one day when she started going crazy in the middle of it (like the after-bath wet yorkie dance!) and ended up sticking her nose where it uh.. didn't belong.. and ever since then, DH makes sure that she's out of our room and in her own bed, outside the door.

we kept Tia in the room with us once but she started humping her teddy at the same time lets just say it put me off lol , now she stays out of the room.
Im sure it was her way of saying , if you can have fun mummy so can I.
