| Baci has good taste in shoes... So, Baci is definitely adjusting and getting more comfortable in our house now. I got home from work yesterday evening, Bella and Baci greeted me as usual at the door- jumping up on me and trying to lick me . I always take my shoes off a the door. Well, the next thing I know Baci has got one of my black leather Cole Haan heels and is running off with it gleefully! LOL-I had to chase him around the living room to get it back. His little face was so miscievious and sneaky as I was trying to rescue the shoe! Keep in mind he never has gone after my flipflops or sneakers. He must only lust after expensive shoes (like his mom ). Had to call my friend (who used to work at Cole Haan and would gift me with shoes via her discount) and tell her the story. Thank goodness no sad end came to the shoe. I'll definitely have to be careful to put them safely out of reach now Can't be upset with the cutie for wanting the shoe though- he's too adorable!

| Shoes! What a hoot! Samantha was just the same from day one. Shoes are one of the things I have to get from the U.S. A friend brought back two pairs of my favorite shoes - now no longer made - and Miss S chewed the same place on one of each pair - right shoe of one, left shoe of the other! Sometimes I think she knows exactly what she is doing! She has never outgrown her love of shoes even though she's pretty much given up chewing other things except socks (grrr) and kleenex (shrug). This, of course, does not include anything she gets and pretends to chew to make me stop whatever I am doing and pay attention to her! Since I always take off my shoes as soon as I come in, often there are shoes all over the house on tables and bookcases. I need a shoe cabinet at the front door! Quote:

| Oh my gosh, I lost sooooo many shoes to little teeth in those first few months! Some shoes I mourned, but I am a shoe addict and I used it to my advantage. "... but hunny, the dog ate 2 pairs and I had to replace them with 4 pairs.... " LOL

| Yikes! Luckily, Scruffs doesn't go after shoes. Underwear and socks, well that's another story!
